Goodbye Ruby Tuesday

Daisy August 18th 1990 - December 24th 2002

I have to admit, I am not such a great people person. I can entertain for short periods, but I don't often make lasting bonds with people. This is why today, I pay tribute (inspired by my mum) to my best friend. A friend who I loved with all my heart, a friend who was there for me and with me for more than a decade of my life. This tribute goes to my Daisy Dog. The most beautiful soul I have ever known. My Dizzles was always happy, always loving and just the best friend I could ever ask for. I miss you terribly my boo

Awww sweets, I bet Daisy misses u too wherever she is in doggy afterlife.

I watched that Barry Hilton DVD mom bought me and when he talks abut how puppies dont know what legs are for for the first three months of their life I instantly thought of you and dizzles when she was a pup and how you used to carry her eveywhere... and how you used to sneak her into bed with you and we'd find you and the black bob cuddled up under the covers together.

Ahhhwwww, Momo, makes me want to cry, really..got tears in my eyes. What a lovely tribute to dearest Daisy. She was such a special doggy. I'd forgotten that her official kennel name was Ruby Tuesday too. It was always so lovely to see her with you. She suddenly became a different personality, like a child would be with her best friend. Dearest Mooska, that was lovely and the picture is soooo sweet.

Love you, my babe

What a sweet tribute and picture. Nothing more pure than the love of a dog.

Ohhh, how sweet! We never forget the pets we love, do we? I have many I've lost over the years myself, and they are always in my heart.

Thank you for all your comments, it is sad to lose those we love so dearly. I lost my kitten tigga almost exactly a year later, he was run over by my next door neighbour. It hurt doubly as he was so much like daisy, only in a kitten suit. His grave lies under his favorite tree and strange new flowers began growing there ever since. I call them Tigga's flowers and they remind me of him daily, but in a nice way because i feel his little spirit lives on
